Right of withdrawal: 7 days
Purchases made online can be undone within 7 calendar days from the purchase, without giving a reason (article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, Código de Defesa do Consumidor). This applies to the first purchase of any plan and cycle, by card or PIX.
Within that period, we refund the full amount paid. Access to the paid plan ends when the refund is processed, and the account goes back to Rise Free.
How to ask for a refund
- Contact us by email at business.risefps@gmail.com, through the Support page in your account or on the official Rise Discord, providing your account email. A request made within the 7 days is valid even if the reply arrives later.
- Card: the refund is made by Stripe to the same card. The time it takes to show up on your statement depends on the issuer and can take up to two statements.
- PIX: we refund through Stripe to the same account that made the payment.
- Once processed, the refund shows up as refunded in the History of the Subscription page.
Cancel your subscription
- Card: cancel whenever you want under Subscription in the account portal. Renewal stops right away and access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
- PIX: it doesn’t renew on its own. You don’t need to cancel; the plan ends at the end of the paid cycle.
- Monthly card subscription: instead of canceling, you can pause for 30 days once every 6 months. The period you’ve already paid for counts in full; the next renewal isn’t charged and, that month, the account stays on Rise Free. Billing resumes on its own afterwards, and you can resume earlier on the same page.
- After the 7 days, canceling stops future charges, but doesn’t refund the current period, except in the situations below.
When we refund after the 7 days
- Duplicate charges or an amount different from the one shown on the payment screen.
- A Rise failure that prevents use of the paid plan and that we can’t fix within a reasonable time.
- Account termination by our decision without a violation of the Terms by you, or removal of an essential feature of the plan during the paid period: we refund the amount proportional to the unused period.
Automatic renewal
Card subscriptions renew at the end of each cycle at the current price. If the price changes, we let you know before the renewal. If the renewal was charged and you didn’t want it, contact us within 7 days of the charge so we can review a refund.
Disputes with your bank
Before disputing a charge with your bank or card, talk to us: a refund through support is usually faster. If the dispute is accepted, the money goes back to you and the paid period for that charge is no longer valid.
Rise Beta and free benefits
Periods granted without payment, like the Rise Plus from Rise Beta, aren’t eligible for refunds. If you pay for a plan and later activate a benefit, the payment is still covered by this policy.
