Rise only changes what you reviewed, keeps the value from before, checks after applying and reverts in one click. And there’s a list of things it won’t do even if you ask.
Not even with confirmation, because the damage wouldn’t stop at the person who clicked.
On every optimization, on any plan.
Rise doesn’t inject anything into the game and doesn’t touch the anti-cheat: the optimizations live in Windows, the graphics card and your peripherals. Competitive Mode detects Vanguard, EAC and BattlEye and backs off anything that could conflict. Even so, no optimizer can promise immunity: each game’s rules have the final word.
Never on its own. Turning off Defender, VBS or CPU mitigations only affects your PC, so it exists as your choice: it lives in Advanced, outside the automatic plan, with the risk explained, your consent every time and a one-click way back. Some anti-cheats need these protections on, and Rise tells you.

Rise reads your PC without changing anything and shows what applies.
The result that counts is the one measured on your PC.
No. Rise still ships without a code signing certificate, and without one Windows warns about any program, not just Rise. Always download from your account on the official website and, if you want, compare the SHA-256 published in Downloads.
Rise asks for administrator access because it adjusts Windows, and it keeps the previous value of every optimization so you can go back.
There’s no trial period. On your first purchase, you have 7 days to back out with a full refund, no reason needed. Before you subscribe, see the app from the inside on the home page and ask anything on the Rise Discord.
It measures. The Rise Benchmark runs the same 3D scene before and after the optimizations and compares score, average FPS, 1% low and stutters. It’s in both plans, with a Light profile for integrated graphics.
The gain depends on the PC: the more power-saving plans, heavy background programs and bad settings there are, the more there is to fix. The Rise Benchmark measures before and after, so you see the result on your own PC. On Premium, match reports measure FPS in game.
No gain number appears on the website as a promise.
It reads your PC, explains what’s holding performance back, fixes it after you review the changes and measures the result, and every optimization reverts in one click.
It doesn’t promise FPS numbers, doesn’t change your internet, doesn’t apply anything without your click, doesn’t close programs unless you ask, doesn’t touch anything inside the game and doesn’t run on Mac, Linux or Windows Server.
Not for the optimizations: they stay in effect with Rise closed. Rise Alert, Competitive Mode and scheduled cleanups need it running in the system tray. It starts with Windows by default, and you can change that in Settings.
Windows, graphics card and peripheral optimizations apply to any game. Game-specific profiles (like the CS2 video settings) exist for some titles and are labeled in the app.
PC readings and process names stay on your PC. Usage data only leaves with "Send usage data" turned on, in Settings. Social features (PCs like yours, Friends live, Ranking) start off and show a preview before sending anything.

Only with your click and only through official channels. Drivers come from Windows Update or the NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Realtek or Acer website, with the manufacturer’s signature checked, a restore point first and the previous driver recorded so you can go back. In the BIOS, Rise only changes what the manufacturer officially exposes; where there’s no interface, it shows you the steps to do it yourself.
Every optimization reverts in one click, and Revert all undoes them all at once, on any plan. If an optimization doesn’t confirm after it’s applied, Rise undoes it on its own. And support is on Discord.

Yes. The diagnosis only shows what applies to your hardware, laptops get their own Rise power plan and the Benchmark has a Light profile for integrated graphics. On hardware at its limit, the gain usually shows up more as stability.
On Windows 10 older than 22H2, Rise opens, shows the diagnosis and reverts what’s already applied, but it doesn’t apply new optimizations. Update through Windows Update and open Rise again.
No. Rise is built for Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 for personal computers. macOS, Linux and Windows Server aren’t supported.

Premium has everything in Basic and adds per-game optimization, presets, Creator Configs, Competitive Mode, match reports and schedules.

It depends on the PC, the game and how Windows was set up. That’s why Rise doesn’t promise a number: run the Benchmark before and after and see yours. Where there’s a power-saving plan, a heavy background program or a bad setting, there’s more to fix.

Rise tunes your PC’s network and measures ping per route. Your ISP’s quality and the route to the game server still depend on your internet.
